A turkey hat that encourages kids to contemplate what they're thankful for, this DIY kids activity is a fun and interactive way celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday. Use the following links to download your own printable Thanksgiving hat, then make sure you have scissors, glue and a pen handy. The kiddos can write their own thankful messages on each turkey feather. You’ll want your camera, too; the result of this fun Thanksgiving activity will be an adorable holiday photo opportunity!

You’ll Need:
Scissors
Tape or Glue
Pen
Camera
Directions:
1. Print both pages on white cardstock using your printer’s highest-quality settings.
2. While an adult is cutting out the shapes, the kids can write what they’re thankful for on each turkey feathers.
3. Tape or blue the bands together to fit your child’s head.
4. Continue attaching the feathers, eyes, beak, wattle and wings to the hat with tape or glue.
