While the turkey is cooking, the pies are cooling and the table is being readied for guests, you can occupy the kiddos with this free Thanksgiving day kids activity! It will even get them thinking about all of the things they're thankful for this year!
This free Thanksgiving hat requires only a pair of scissors, glue and a pen. Use the following links to download your own hat, then print both pages on white cardstock using your printer's highest-quality settings. While an adult is cutting out the shapes, encourage your kids to write what they’re thankful for on the turkey feathers. Tape or blue the bands together to fit your child’s head, then continue attaching the feathers, eyes, beak, wattle and wings to the hat with tape or glue.
