  We used an 18x18x24 box, but you can absolutely use a different size depending on how big you want your vending machine to be! You can usually find boxes at hardware stores, moving supply stores, or shipping stores.
• Strong tape, like packing tape or duct tape

• Something to poke holes in the cardboard 🛠️
  We used a pencil, but a screwdriver, small drill, or anything sturdy enough to poke through cardboard will work too.

Flip the cardboard box upside down and tape the new top securely closed. Make sure to leave the bottom flaps open, since that’s where people will reach in to grab their prize.

On one side of the box, cut a “window” by cutting along the sides and top only. Push the flap downward into the box to create the prize drop area.

3. Add the String Divider 🛠️

Take the “window” cardboard piece and poke several holes in it. Tape this piece inside the box underneath the window opening. Depending on your box size, you may want to add extra support inside to make everything sturdier.
