The look and feel of your event completely depends on your party style. From shimmering elegance to crafty casual, these Thanksgiving table setting ideas will inspire you to host a memorable event that is perfectly YOU-nique.
Each Thanksgiving party featured below was styled with the same Give Thanks theme, showcasing different uses for the party supplies to easily create stylish Thanksgiving table settings. By swapping a few items, you can create the look you want for an impressive event.
If you dream of a Thanksgiving party full of glittery goodness, fine china and a table that makes everyone ooh and ahh, this elegant Thanksgiving table setting (above) will inspire your tables in the upcoming holiday. The party theme began by customizing party invitations as menu cards for each guest, then a beautiful Thanksgiving table setting was planned.
A key piece in this tablescape is the impressive table runner. Customized with your name at the sides, this extra-wide runner eliminates the need for individual placemats. Top it off with a neutral charger, white and gold china, and a pine cone place card for a dramatic Thanksgiving table.
Then give your guests an unexpected treat by adding a shaped favor box to each spot. Fill it with decadent chocolates and they will have a take-home sweet treat to enjoy.
Creating a more casual atmosphere without sacrificing an impressive Thanksgiving table is easily done by mixing chevron party supplies with the Give Thanks party theme (above). Laying your table with coordinating party supplies, and mixing in a few DIY decor elements, will make this party one to remember!
A simple white tablecloth and custom placemats at each spot laid the foundation for this chic casual Thanksgiving table. The black plates paired with gray chevron plates brought out the chalkboard inspired theme of the party (and will make clean-up a breeze!).
Shaped cut outs offered numerous easy DIY craft ideas to bring the entire table to life. By adding one on top of each napkin and to the front of mason jar mugs, the party was fabulously festive. Place cards attached to pinecones finished off this stylish Thanksgiving table.
What's your party style? Do you have any fun decorations planned or family traditions? Share them below in the comments.

Plan a fabulously festive Thanksgiving party with a chalkboard-inspired Give Thanks theme and these fun decoration ideas. With a few must-have do it yourself craft supplies and a timeless menu, you will be hosting a feast that everyone will remember.
PARTY BONUS: With a few tweaks to the decorations and different personalization, these party ideas are great for a fall baby shower using our Oh Baby! Fall baby shower theme. Pssst - we feature an example at the end!
This tablescape began with an impressive table runner. The grand size created a great backdrop for the chargers, plates and napkins, as well as the fun centerpieces. To make it more formal, Thanksgiving place cards were added to the top of pine cones and placed at each spot.
Then a fun pyramid shaped favor box was filled with chocolates and caramels and placed on top of each napkin. This is a great Thanksgiving party favor idea guests can enjoy right after the meal or take home for later.
Finally, a delicious beverage bar was styled with a choice of drinks and glassware decorated with fall-theme die cuts. Wine, cider, water and apple ale is a great choice to celebrate the season at your Thanksgiving party. Give Thanks bottle toppers add a little something unexpected to this fun display.
A thankful tree will complete any fall event and give guests something to mingle around. Offer guests leaf-shaped cut outs and some fun pens. After the write something they are thankful for, they can hang it on the tree branches along with the others. After the party, guests can either take home their thankful notes or they can be added to a traveling scrapbook and brought to the next celebration!
CELEBRATION BONUS: Fall Baby Shower
The Oh Baby! Fall baby shower theme will work with all of these fun party ideas. Styled in a chalkboard-inspired theme with components that say "Oh Baby!", any Mommy-To-Be will adore this festive autumn baby shower.

Want a Thanksgiving table setting that is not only stylish but affordable too? I have a couple fun and easy ideas that will make your Thanksgiving feel like a million dollars without breaking the bank. My theme this year is Pumpkin Patch. I’m doing a menu card, a napkin ring and a favor at each of my guest’s place setting.
I’m also going to put together a tree of thanks. To keep my theme affordable several of the items I’m using including the table runner, candle holder, candles, pumpkins and gourds are all things that I have around the house and in my garden. For my centerpiece I’m using a cake plate that I have and a tree branch pumpkin I purchased on sale at a local craft shop. The personalized Pumpkin Patch theme items I found and purchased at BigDotofHappiness.com
Their Pumpkin Patch invitations are adorable and will work great as my menu cards. I’m changing the personalization to include my dinner and dessert menu and their designers will do the rest.
For my napkin rings I’m cutting orange card stock paper into rectangular strips and adding a Pumpkin Patch sticker label to each one. I’ll then place the napkin ring around the outside of my folded cloth napkin, secure the back and in just a few minutes I have an adorable napkin ring that matches my Pumpkin Patch theme.
I also want to send each of my guests home with something special, my way of giving thanks for their presence in my life. The Pumpkin Patch classic favor boxes at Big Dot of Happiness caught my eye. I’m personalizing each box with the phrase Be Thankful and filling them with some home baked goodies. I also have some adorable glass bottles I’m going to fill with candy coated treats. I'm using the card stock tags that come with my classic favor boxes and attaching the tag to the glass bottles with a piece of brown satin ribbon. Not only will that put a finishing touch on my favors but it helps to carry my Pumpkin Patch theme throughout my table setting.
For my tree of thanks I gathered some branches from outside, placed them in a simple white pitcher. I added some glass marbles to the inside of the pitcher to keep the branches in place. I cut brown and orange card stock into pieces and folded them in half. On the folded top left hand corner I punched a hole and tied a piece of white satin ribbon through the hole, I then placed a Pumpkin Patch sticker label with the phrase Give Thanks to each one
As my guests arrive I going to have each of them write on a card what they are the most thankful for and place their card on one of the tree branches.
After dinner each of us will go to the tree of thanks and read out loud a card of Thanksgiving. At the end of the day we will all have many things to be thankful for. I will be thankful for my family, delicious food and affordable decorations that made for a picture perfect day!!
